Allison Gose

Allison grew up in East Tennessee and is a proud resident of the Volunteer state. She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning a dual degree in political science and history. Due to her love for the humanities and social sciences, Allison completed a master’s in history in addition to PhD coursework and research at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. There, she served in multiple teaching roles and worked with students to improve their reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing skills. While her scholarship and published work focuses on history, specifically the religious and political culture of the European Middle Ages, she also has experience in technical writing that focuses on various STEM fields. Her diverse interests in both the humanities and STEMs have influenced her tutoring career and enabled her to work with students in a wide array of subjects.
